GOD'S LITTLE DEMON

My name is Zuraith Anael SaDistika.

Like everyone else in the world, I'm fueled by passionate love and vagary hatred. Whether people choose to be quite as dramatic or not is dependant on their comfort and will. To me, being dramatic is simply a way to morph your emotions and desires into a tool for mutual or parasitic learning. Either way, self-expression is as critical as self-discovery. After all, hiding behind a mask tends to strain your vision and choke your breathing.

To me, music is life. It's both the effigy to test wits upon and the bloodflow of artistic attributes surrounding everything. In conversation, you may say one thing and mean another, but generally you can only make one statement with one purpose. With music, the guitars, drums, trumpets, kazoos, and other instruments are saying their own conversations while you lay the main message over top of them with vocals. The meaning of melodies is greater than the meaning of lyrics themselves.

What places black metal, hip hop, jazz, avant garde, and new age in different places are their sources. Jazz is about feeling- grabbing hold of a chord progression and letting loose within its boundaries. Avant garde is the opposite, creating whatever bounds you wish simply so that you can disobey them. Metal is aggressive, and can either be meaningless and insane or meaningful and still violent, with melodies or chords stabbing at silence with brute force. Then there are those of us that combine all of these genres to make something that is ours. We are original.

I love complexity, as well as melody. I hate chaos, repetition, and the sound of vocal chords decaying. I also love horror, individuality, and darkness. The ZS sound is derived from these perspectives.
